White piped indicating Wehrmacht Infantry.-Celluloid crown shield is mostly intact but shows cracking and is sewn onto a yellowish cream silk like interior lining. Gray colored sweat band is still soft with no stampings. The cap body shows  moth tracking with a few nips here and there. Good honest example that also shows period wear.
105a	WW2 Nazi Wehrmacht Infantry NCO/EM Visor Cap	"WW2 Nazi Wehrmacht Infantry NCO/Enlisted Visor Cap -Nice quality issued visor cap with a field green tricot wool  body and crown, with a green felt/wool center band with white wool Waffenfarbe to the crown edge and both the top and bottom edges of the center band. The front center of the cap has the aluminum national eagle. The front center of the center band has polished natural aluminum oak-leaf wreath encompassing the cockade. The cap has a blackened patent leather chinstrap intact with two, black painted, rectangular, sheet metal retaining clips and two black painted, vertically oval, sliding length adjustment buckles. The chinstrap is secured to the cap by two small sheet metal buttons. The cap has an extended black lacquered Vulcan fiber visor with a subtly raised lip at the forward edge. The interior of the cap is fully lined in orange cloth with the celluloid sweat rhomboid partially intact. The interior of the cap also has a complete original leather sweatband and corking which is date stamped 1935 and is maker stamped-There also appears to be a fasint unit marking stamp.. Size marked 55. Only minor moth damage hidden between the top and center band on the right side of the cap. Nice clean cap in excellent condition."

The split pin rivets are intact and are original to the helmet. This German helmet has the correct and original M1931 zinc galvanized steel liner. The liner leather is in good overall condition with some cracking from dryness. The liner is a size 62. The helmet has the initial “H” written in the back of the helmet. The Heer decal is present having had the camouflaged paint wiped off when painted. The helmet is a Q64 indicating manufacture by the FW Quist firm in Esslingen, Germany. The Lot Number is 309. The chin strap is missing. The camo is worn off of the top - possibly where the soldier continually removed it and dropped it on the rocky sands of Cyrenaica. This helmet is in excellent overall condition and is offered for the first time to the public. 100% original WWII period."

The nicely toned gold Heer decal is 90% intact and lacquer covered. The helmet is an EF64 indicating manufacture by the Emaillierwerke AG, Fulda, Germany. The Lot Number is 23735. This helmet is in excellent overall condition and is from a lifelong Third Reich collection."
